Phoenix: Flames Of Rebirth

Played on the latest version of Dissidia 012 Emendatus: the game must be patched to take part, and help with patching is offered on the tournament Discord. Feral Chaos banned; no summons other than countersummons; Rebellious Soul, breakable and hacked accessories banned; infinites capped at three repetitions. Nine stages, Dave's Stupid Rule in effect — a player cannot counterpick a stage they have already won on during the set. Coin flip for the first stage: the winner strikes two, the loser picks from the rest. Blind pick for characters, winner selecting first. All replays must be saved, zipped and sent to the host by Discord DM for upload to the community YouTube channel. Prizes: a Steam gift card for first place, Discord Nitro for second and third.

Twice a day, an automatic watcher queries start.gg's official API: every Duodecim tournament created there shows up here on its own, with its date and link. Announcements from the announcements channel of the Discord DISSIDIA (Challonge brackets in particular) are relayed to the calendar by hand. Past tournaments come from the Tournaments page, where each edition is documented with its ruleset and results.
